APPRAISED REAL ESTATE VALUE:
The estimated market value of real estate on a given date, provided by a licensed person through inspection and a consideration of other real estate market forces.

B:
BUILDING PERMIT:
An official document obtained from the local government, locally Santa Rosa or Escambia County, allowing the construction of a structure on a specific property in accordance with the terms of the permit. Required before the commencement of any building activities.

C:
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY:
An official document issued by the local municipality stating that a new dwelling is suitable and ready for occupation. This document confirms that the property, dwelling, complies with local building, safety and health by-laws. Locally this would be issued by Escambia County for Pensacola and Santa Rosa County for Pace and Milton.

D:
DUPLEX:
A residential building that houses two separate dwelling units that share a common wall. These are also can be called; townhouses, duplex, shotgun, or any other two-unit apartments or condos.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY:
Escambia County is the most westerly county in the Florida Panhandled borders Alabama.
County seat is Pensacola and the largest of the cities there.
Other cities include: Pace, Milton, Pensacola Beach, Cantonment, Century, Molino, Gonzalez, Ensley, Goulding, West Pensacola, Bellview, Warrington, Brent and Brownsville.
